To continue our last discussion about online business opportunities, the internet is replete with MLM’s. What is a MLM? It’s an abbreviation for multi-level marketing company. We’ve probably all heard of the most prevalent ones- Amway, Xango, NuSkin, even DoTerra. How do they work? They sell products through a network of dealers or representatives. These reps then recruit people to their “team” to sell products for a commission. Sounds great right? Well, it can be for the people who get in early enough or if you happen to be a recruiting superstar. That’s right, in order to make the real MLM riches it’s not truly about selling the product as much as it is about recruiting a team. The product is the rallying call to build the team, but still, if you set up a table outside of the busiest store in a large city, say New York or Chicago, and sold hundreds of dollars worth of products, heck even thousands! You will not achieve the coveted spot of six or seven figure earner. You need to recruit a team of of high level recruiters and then BINGO! You are well on your way.
Lets face it, we live in the day of the internet and many people have been able to make a comfortable living online. Isn’t this what we all want to do? So how does one crack this code and actually make enough money to generate a full-time income? The internet is riddled with online business opportunities, recruiters, all claiming theirs is the opportunity to make six figures online…blah blah blah. But why should you and I believe anything they have to say? A lot of authors and those who create Amazon products actually pay for reviews, well, at least in the beginning. A lot of review websites will do the same, just to showcase their company or product in the most favorable light as possible. As it turns out, those who make the riches online are amazing marketers and don’t necessarily have the best products. So wouldn’t it be nice to some legitimate ways to generate a significant online income, whether you’re a banker in New York, scientist in China, or even a pest control tech in Boise, Idaho?
In this post, I’d like to explore some great meal ideas and where they can be found. But first, I’d like to share this glorious photo:
Mmmmm, that’s right, nachos!!! I’m not sure if you share my love for nachos or chips and salsa, but this plate of goodness looks amazing.
If you don’t know what a DTR is, well, good for you. It stands for “determine the relationship” and I’m sure in today’s world, it’s acronym that is looong forgotten. But even still, it is something we all do on an everyday basis. Are we friends? What kind of friends? Do I like you? Do you like me? What does this mean? See, we’re already having a DTR session of a sort.
Lets talk about the different relationships ok? The romantic, the familial, the friendly, the platonic…we could keep going. But to be true to my word, most people look online for romantic relationship advice. There are entire libraries full of literature dedicated to the subject, entire careers dedicated to it….it’s mind boggling isn’t it? So in my limited experience, how can I share what works for me? I suppose in the vast expanse of human experience and relationships out there, there are probably some universal truths, right? So lets talk about a few of them, of course this list isn’t exhaustive because there isn’t one out there.
What exactly is the Zhim Zone? Well, the name is Zhim (sounds like Jim) and this website is dedicated to my thoughts and musings specifically around the area of self improvement and help. Why? Because this life is short and it’s important that while we’re here that we find happiness and fulfillment. Am I an expert on the topic? No I’m not. So is anything on this website worth reading? Yes yes yes! Don’t listen to the cynical part of the brain that says “Oh, Zhim isn’t a celebrity or PhD, why should I care?” We all think that way! Imagine a world where each one of us would actually take the time to listen and weigh the merit of what we can contribute to each other without immediately dismissing it as bull crap. Sure i’m an idealist and I realize that world will likely never happen. But is it going to stop me from trying? Absolutely not! If I can help at least one person out there in the vast world of the internet, then it’s worth it.
