- 1 lb. lean ground beef (8O% lean)
- 1/2 C. water (for beef)
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 3/4 C. diced onions
- 1 beef bouillon cube

Preparation:

In the food processor, input the ground beef, salt and water. Stir for a few seconds until the water and salt are mixed through the ground beef and the meat should look a little pasty. On an 11" x 13" jelly roll pan place plastic wrap on bottom. Include hamburger in the middle and with another piece of plastic wrap on top of the meat. Roll the hamburger out to 1/4" thick. Remove the plastic wrap and cut meat into 30 leave ground beef pieces on tray. You should get between twelve and fourteen squares. Perforate each piece five times with the end of a plastic straw. This will make the meat has little steam holes. Cover the hamburger using the plastic wrap and place in a freezer until the meat is partially frozen but not solid.

Include onions, 1/2 cup water and beef bouillon in a fry pan. On medium low heat sauté and stir onions until they are clear, you may add more water as needed. Turn the heat off until ready to cook hamburger patties.

Once beef patties are ready to prepare, then turn the fry pan on medium low heat and add adequate water to onions just so the bottom of fry pan is covered. Place patties in pan and cover with lid. Frying time is just a few moments. Turn patties and cook until done but not dry. The patties should be juicy. When the hamburgers are finished cooking place on top of a roll add pickles, cover the hamburgers so they will steam slightly or pop in microwave covered just for a few seconds until ready to serve.
