Patients who are suffering pneumonia usually experience high fever, cough, restlessness, irritability and shortness of breath. In infants, symptoms are not typical, often without a fever and cough. Children usually experience headache and puke.

In a healthy condition, in the lung there will not be happen the growth of microorganisms. This situation is caused by a lung defense mechanism.
